Caged
He rattled the cage
Pushed his face to the bars
Through his shoe
Stuck out his tongue
Yelled and stomped his feet
Poked with a stick
One last act
A pie in the face
Surprise!?
A roar
A snap
Some blood
Much pain
Still,
He's the one that got to limp away
Pushed his face to the bars
Through his shoe
Stuck out his tongue
Yelled and stomped his feet
Poked with a stick
One last act
A pie in the face
Surprise!?
A roar
A snap
Some blood
Much pain
Still,
He's the one that got to limp away

Oh dear. I wonder if checking another blog give me the prose that goes with this poetry?
I'm looking forward to that piece Wenda
Oh dear, again, maybe this is around the time I lost my link to your blog (and others). This is the first I've seen of your response to my comment.
