I've been dragging myself around emotionally. It could be because my youngest has just graduated from high school and she is going to move away. Or it could be because it is summer and there hasn't been much sun, or I need a vacation, or I need something new to challenge me, or...

I was scheduled to facilitate a life skills workshop this afternoon. One woman showed up. One man showed up inebriated. I suggested he head on home. One woman checked in to say she couldn't stay due to a major conflict in a significant relationship. One woman phoned to say she couldn't make it. One man just didn't show.

My emotional dip seems insignificant compared to most of the rest of the world. So maybe I should just get on with living and stop mopin' about.
